The Friends of the Ballston Spa Public Library
Friends of the Library Program
- A dedicated group of library users who support the Ballston Spa Public Library by promoting and enhancing library services
- Volunteers who accept no payment other than the satisfaction of having helped out their library
- The Friends annual meeting is held in the fall. Special meetings and committee meetings are scheduled as necessary.
- Funded installation of wireless internet at the library
- Purchased lounge furniture for the renovated upstairs
- Offered a cemetery walk as part of the village bicentennial
- Funded a Recorded Books subscription that provides books on CD for the library collection
- Sponsor a monthly book discussion group
- Help with book sales and other events
- Purchased library directional signs
- Purchased benches for outdoor seating area
- By becoming a Friend
- By offering your time and talent to the Friends. If you don't think you have any talent, we'll find some.
- 20% discount at Lyrical Ballad in Saratoga
- 10% discount at Twice Told in Ballston Spa
- 20% discount at Borders in Saratoga Springs
